Kadhai Chicken is a great North Indian dish that is an ideal alternative to your typical Indian chicken dishes! The rich and spicy flavours of the sauce are made simple by using our authentic Kohinoor Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce.

Ingredients

4 chicken legs
50 ml oil
100g diced red onion
100g diced peppers
200g diced tomatoes
1 packet Kohinoor Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce

Method

  • Heat the oil in a pan
  • Add the chicken legs and fry until browned
  • Add the Kohinoor Jalfrezi cooking sauce, onion, peppers, and tomatoes
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked
  • Serve with the Kohinoor basmati rice and garnish with ginger and coriander
